Santiago Pinzon is a first-generation visual artist based in New York. He grew up in Jackson Heights, Queens. While in high school, he began photography by documenting urban exploration with his friends, capturing the feeling of forgotten spaces and landscapes.

In 2022, he began studying photography at St.John’s University on a full Visual Arts Scholarship. He is also a part of the graduating class of 2025 at the International Center of Photography.

In 2023, his project, “Diversity in Queens,” was shown in the Sun Yat Sen Gallery. In 2025, his project “Where My Journey Began” was presented in the International Center of Photography Museum

His current work is shaped by cultural and geographical context, capturing the essence of place and identity.
